Available in both English and French Canadian layouts, the Sculpted Ergonomic Rechargeable Keyboard for PC from Matias reflects many of the features appreciated in the discontinued Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard. It combines the same familiar layout, very similar styling and ergonomic design, with laptop-style Matias scissor-switch membrane chiclet keyswitches. Enhanced functionality is also provided, with the addition of an embedded numeric keypad making this keyboard a true compact layout, and performance-oriented individuals will appreciate the full on-board and driver-free programming capabilities that the Sculpted Ergonomic Rechargeable Keyboard for PC offers. Serious typists will also appreciate the inclusion of an illuminated Caps Lock indicator. The removable (attaches magnetically) padded palm support uses genuine tree rubber for an enhanced thicker and denser cushion and the included optional (also attached magnetically) Negative Tilt Bar can be used to elevate the front of the keyboard to create an ergonomic negative slope that can aid in reducing wrist extension. However, because this elevates the keyboard, typists need to ensure that they are able to adjust the keyboard position to an appropriate height or they may actually be moving to a "less" ergonomic position when attaching this accessory.
The Sculpted Ergonomic Rechargeable Keyboard can connect either as a wireless device (using either of the included USB-A or USB-C receivers), or as a wired device by employing the USB-C charging cord which doubles as a data cable. When in wireless mode it employs Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-128) technology, designed to help protect sensitive data by encrypting keystrokes. The included USB receivers are also replaceable should either (or both) be lost (unlike the discontinued Microsoft product), saving the hassle of a costly keyboard replacement.
The Sculpted Ergonomic Rechargeable Keyboard for PC is available for pre-order with a $20.00 Discount available until September 1st, 2024. Delivery is expected in September, 2024.
Those working in Mac environment will want to purchase the Sculpted Ergonomic Rechargeable Keyboard for Mac, also available with the pre-order discount.

The Balance Keyboard from Contour Design is specifically designed to work with the RollerMouse Red, Red Plus, and Free3. It will also work with the RollerMouse Mobile but in that case the numeric keypad will extend past the end of the RollerMouse. The slim bezel at the front edge of the keyboard ensures that the hands have only a minimal reach between the rollerbar and the keyboard. In addition the shallow depth of the Balance Keyboard, just 4.7", can accommodate deployment of inline pointing devices where many keyboards will not fit due to limited tray depth.
The underside of the Balance Keyboard is contoured to elevate the front to the same height as a RollerMouse rollerbar, making the transition from typing to mousing virtually seamless. This also creates an ergonomically desirable negative incline (or downward slope), elevating the heel of the hand to reduce wrist extension, and virtually eliminates the risk of accidentally touching the rollerbar when typing. Fold out feet at the back can be used to level the keyboard if desired or even raise the rear edge higher than the front to create a positive incline (Note: This is not recommended).
The Balance Keyboard features a compact layout that brings the numeric keypad closer to the home row position. This layout is often referred to as a "compact financial" keyboard because it offers a reduced overall footprint while still retaining a discrete numeric keypad. This reduced footprint is beneficial for individuals who use a traditional mouse with their right hand as the reaching distance when moving between typing and mousing is reduced. The Balance Keyboard is equipped with low-travel scissor-switch style keys. The chiclet-style keycaps are almost flat, with a very slight convex curvature. The "island" layout provides separation between keys. For convenience there are keys for accessing common functions such as Calculator, Web and Email, keys for media control, and the traditional function keys (F1 - F12) are accessible via the Fn Lock feature.
The Balance Keyboard is available in both USB-A wired and wireless models. The wireless uses two AAA batteries and comes with a storable USB-A receiver. There is no need for an ON/OFF switch due to smart, power-saving technology. The BALANCE-US & BALANCE-US-WIRED (Black/Silver models) only have PC legending but the BALANCE-US-WIRED-BK now includes PC and Mac legends and ships with a USB-A to USB-C adapter. All models are switchable and will work on either PC or Mac OS. Mac drivers are available for download. Select models of the Balance Keyboard are available at a discount when purchased as a bundle with select RollerMouse models (see the RollerMouse model listings for available bundle options).
Note: Data being entered using wireless products from Contour Design is secured using AES 128 bit encryption.

The Super Mini Wireless Trackball Keyboard from Solidtek features keycaps with a horizontal spacing of just 15 mm, approximately 78% of the normal. The keycaps are also shallower in height, resulting in the rows being spaced just 14 mm apart, approximately 73% of normal. This reduced spacing makes the keyboard not only narrower but also shallower (front to back). The fully-functioning membrane keys have a shorter-than-average travel and include a scissors mechanism that enhances the smoothness and stability of keyswitches. Despite including the smallest "physically functioning" keyboard available, it also includes both an embedded numeric keypad to offer full 101 key functionality. The Shift, Enter, Space Bar, Caps Lock, Tab, and all bottom and top row keys are all significantly smaller than on a standard keyboard.
The reduced key spacing and small size of the key caps make the Super Mini Wireless Trackball Keyboard primarily suitable for everyday two-handed use by children or those with smaller-than-average hands. For one-handed typing by those with average to smaller hands the compact width can reduce the movement necessary to access all of the keys and the convenience of an integrated mousing device will provide fully computer access in a compact 11.5" width. However those with larger finger tips will still have difficulty activating just a single key and would be better served by a compact keyboard with full-size keycaps and standard key spacing.
Although not ideal for daily use by many individuals the portability of this keyboard does make it suitable for short term use with portable devices. It can be powered the included USB cable, alkaline batteries, or rechargeable batteries.
NOTE: If the mini-USB cable is being used to power the keyboard, DO NOT USE the alkaline batteries at the same time, as the keyboard will ATTEMPT TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES. Use rechargeable batteries instead or uninstall the alkaline batteries during corded use.

The Cleankeys CK4 Wireless Capacitive Desktop Glass Keyboard from GETT (formerly Indukeys) is a wipeable, waterproof wireless keyboard designed for environments in which hygienic conditions are a necessity, such as medical and dental operatories. The surface of this touch-sensitive (i.e. zero force) keyboard is a completely flat Gorilla Glass 3 that is easily cleaned using hospital-grade disinfectants. Keystrokes are activated by lightly touching the legended key areas on the surface as there are no moving mechanical parts in the keyboard. The keys have adjustable sensitivity and volume to provide some confirmation of input in the absence of tactile or haptic feedback. A touchpad area for mouse input (including two dedicated areas for left and right click) occupy the traditional location of the cursor keys. The directional cursor keys are still available and have been relocated below the Enter and Right Shift key area.
The ISO compliant standard 103 key layout makes the transition to a different keying action less daunting. The one-touch "Key Lock" feature locks out all key input to avoid accidental data entry, and is especially valuable when cleaning is required. This function is activated and de-activated by a simple 2-second touch on the "Key Lock" indicator.
For applications where wireless is not a necessity these same features are available in a Wired model.Note: The Wired model of the CK4 does NOT include the Pause/Break, Scroll Lock, or Print Screen Keys. The newer CK5 Wired model includes Print Screen and Pause as alternate Functions.

The Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop from Microsoft combines the wireless Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with a low profile numeric keypad and the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse, all connecting through a single wireless 2.4 GHz mini receiver. The wireless keyboard features Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) technology, designed to help protect information by encrypting keystrokes. Each keyboard set is permanently paired with its receiver at the factory. Note: This means that if the receiver is lost or damaged, there is no way to replace it - the keyboard, mouse and numeric keypad will no longer function.
The Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard is equipped with low-travel scissor switches that have a higher "return to neutral" or "bounce-back" rate than most laptop style keyboards, providing clear tactile feedback. The response is evenly consistent across all keys with the exception of the F-Key "button keys" (see below). The keycaps feature a slightly concave surface to aid in finger positioning as well as a subtle crowning that provides more distinction between keys than many current scissor switch keyboards. However, the varying size of the keys, a feature which serves no ergonomic purpose, may prove frustrating to those accustomed to a standard layout. In addition, the F-Key "buttons" have a lower profile, are only about 40% the height of a standard keycap, and use a high-force membrane switch. Although these keys do support secondary functions such as multimedia, the secondary functions can only be accessed by switching between Standard mode and Alternate function mode. This is accomplished by a slide switch in the upper right corner of the keyboard. The absence of a FN key means that the quick access to secondary functions that is available on most keyboards is not an option.
The Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard ships with an optional magnetically-attached riser that can be used to elevate the front of the keyboard to create an ergonomic negative slope that can aid in reducing wrist extension. However, because this elevates the keyboard typists need to ensure that they are able to adjust the keyboard position to an appropriate height or they may actually be moving to a "less" ergonomic position when attaching the riser.
The included Sculpt Mouse, for right-handed use only, includes a Windows button for quick access to the Start Screen, and its four-way scroll wheel allows for easy navigating up, down, left, or right. The rounded design angles the hand outward to reduce pronation of the forearm with the body of the mouse serving as a support for the fingers to naturally curl over. The BlueTrack sensor technology works on virtually any surface, making it the ideal device for traveling. A slot in the underside of the mouse provides storage for the mini receiver that provides the wireless connection for all three devices.
This package also includes a convenient low profile numeric keypad, under 0.5" in height, and that can be positioned anywhere as desired. The convenient "calculator" button facilitates quick switching between data entry and the onscreen Windows calculator.
Note: Those who find glare and reflection less than desirable or who do not like fingerprints may not appreciate the housings, all of which have a high gloss or sheen.

The Ergo K860 Keyboard from Logitech features a flowing design that orients keys at varying angles across the keyboard. The K860 alpha/numeric keys transition through a concave arc from almost level at the centre to about 5° at the right and left edges. The navigation cluster on the right then completes the transition to a fully flat numeric keypad. The left and right key groups are also angled or "splayed" outward to encourage adoption of a more neutral alignment of the wrists. The Ergo K860 also has an attached 3.5" deep cushioned palm support which rises up to match the keyboard elevation. This needs to be taken into consideration when deploying the K860 into a workstation.
While the K860 has a slender low profile the angled design results in the middle keys being elevated to 1.5". This elevation may require individuals to either raise their seats to accommodate the height of the keyboard or to use a keyboard tray to lower the keyboard into their lap. The keyboard is also equipped with front legs that can be used to raise the front to create either 4° or 7° negative slope intended to encourage better wrist alignment. Use of these legs may require further adjustments of seat or keyboard tray height because it adds another inch of elevation to the middle of the palm support and increases the risk of pressure points being created on the underside of the wrists.
The K860 features low-travel scissor switches with chiclet-style keycaps. Key activation is crisp and comparatively high force compared to other scissor switch devices and does require a significant degree of activation force. The low profile keycaps have a satin texture with a slight concave surface to aid in finger positioning.
