The Floor Cable Protector from Aidata is designed to eliminate tripping hazards from unprotected cords and cables as well as to protect wires from damage caused by walking or wheeled traffic. The 2.6" wide protector only rises 0.5" in the middle and features bevelled sides that gently slope to the floor, accommodating passage of wheeled equipment and creating a visual indicator of a variance in floor level. In addition to the above, more rigid floor cable management solutions generally are more restrictive as to the type or diameter of cords that can be routed "through" them, making it difficult to modify cable runs, especially those with multiple wires involved. Because the Secure Cord Cable Manager simply "covers" the cables and is held down through a simple hook-and-loop system it can be lifted at any time to easily remove or add cables as required. This also means that it can just as easily be repositioned when rerouting is required or simply rolled up and put in storage when not required.
