The Sit-Stand SmartMat for Hard Surfaces is a new model of the Sit-Stand SmartMat, designed solely for use on hard-surfaced flooring. Rethought from the floor up, the Sit-Stand SmartMat for Hard Surfaces is now comprised of 0.75" thick polyurethane foam sealed under a tough polyurethane top. The polyurethane foam core offers a significant improvement in cushioning over earlier SmartMat versions, providing a "spring-like" response and making standing on this mat an even more pleasurable experience. Movement of the mat is still easily accomplished with a light touch of a foot to the "activation point", with the underside securely gripping the floor as soon as weight is transferred to any other part of the mat. 18° bevelled edges ensure safety and a smooth transition between the floor and mat surfaces. The large 20" x 32" surface provides plenty of space for engaging in movement without moving off the cushioned surface.
