Sunflex OfficeChair HB

The Sunflex OfficeChair HB features classic high-back styling with an adjustable headrest to provide neck support. The seat and back are both equipped with moderately firm cushioning to provide support, with breathable upholstery for comfort while working. Seat pan depth can be adjusted to four positions from 16.7 " - 19.1". The lumbar zone features a natural curve that can be enhanced and firmed up using the inflatable bladder. The top of the backrest on the OfficeChair HB can position between 22 and 24.8 inches above the seat, moving up through 7 positions. The removable 3-D articulating headrest is capable of providing neck support up to 39" above the seat.

For arm support, the OfficeChair HB is equipped with 4-D Armrests that can be adjusted up and down, left and right, forward and back, and swivel (15° in or out). The armrest height adjusts between 8.0 and 10.5" above the seat. A manual width adjustment below the seat facilitates the adjust of the armrest width.

The backrest can locked fully upright or at one of three reclining positions. If desired it can also be left unlocked for total freedom of movement. The movement resistance is adjustable from below the seat.

• High Back for Support: The OfficeChair HBE features a comfortably cushioned fabric back rest. It offers 7 heights that let the top of the backrest adjust from 22 to 24.8 inches above the seat. The height of the back rest and the additional adjustment range ensure firm back and shoulder support whether sitting upright or reclining, even for taller individuals who may find back rests on most task chairs lacking in this regard.
• Comfortable Breathable Seat Cushion: With fabric upholstery the seat cushion offers breathability for longer sitting comfort.
• Free Moving Back Rest: The back rest on the OfficeChair HB can be left fully unlocked to permit regular movement throughout the entire available range of motion. This can encourage a greater degree of activity through the day. The movement tension is also adjustable to accommodate those of different weight or just personal preference.
• Tilt Mechanism with Adjustable Tension: A control knob below the seat offers tension/resistance adjustment for the backrest movement when it is in the unlocked position.
• Back Rest Lock Option: Back rest angle can be locked to either a 90° upright position when working on projects that require a more fixed and focused position, or at one of 4 reclining angles when a more relaxed and informal position is desired.
• Adjustable Lumbar Support: The OfficeChair HB back rest can be adjusted vertically for optimal vertical positioning of the lumbar support. An inflatable bladder lets each individual set their desired degree of support and facilitates changes throughout the day.
• Depth Adjustable Seat: A sliding seat pan offers a seat depth adjustment from 16.7 to 19.1 inches (4 positions). This is a wide enough range to accommodate a wide range of leg length. To ensure that arm support is suitably positioned the armrests follow the movement of the seatpan.
• "Waterfall Front" Seatpan: There is a slight "waterfall" effect on seat pan to reduce the risk of unnecessary pressure being exerted against the back of the thighs.
• Removable 4-D Armrests: The OfficeChair HB features 4-D Armrests that are adjustable for height, width (from the inner edge of the left armrest to the inner edge of the right armrest), depth (forward and backward), and pivot (10° to the left and right). • Adjust the armrests to match your build - The armrests on the Sunflex OfficeChair HB offer an adjustment range that fits a range of heights and builds. Adjust the height, width and depth to provide support when your shoulders are relaxed and your arms are hanging at your sides. If necessary, you can adjust the angle of the armrest to approximately 15° (in or out) to match the angle at which your forearms approach your workspace.
• Adjust the back rest height to position lumbar support centrally in the curve of your back. When adjusting the air pressure in the lumbar support you want to have a degree of firmness but should not feel that it is pressing into your back.
• Ensure that the seat pan is correctly adjusted to match your body. When comfortably seated with your back resting against the backrest you want to have 1-2 finger widths between the back of your knees and the front of the seat pan. Too little space may restrict circulation; too much space will not provide the optimal support.
• Set the height of the OfficeChair HB correctly. Aim for an elevation that lets your elbows open slightly more than 90° when your hands are resting on the keyboard or mouse. If the chair is too low the angle between your legs and torso will be less than 90°. Make sure the seat is high enough to create a 90° angle at the hips. Note: You might also need to raise the height of the keyboard and mousing surfaces accordingly. If the greater elevation results in your feet being unable to rest flat against the floor you should consider adding a footrest to your workstation.
