SimplyWorks for Ipad

The SimplyWorks for iPad offers a convenient wireless connection between an iPad, iPad Mini, iPod or iPhone and up to six wireless Simply Works compatible input devices. It is ideal for situations where existing SimplyWorks devices are already being used with a PC or Mac computer but where there is a desire to extend access to compatible iDevices.

The SimplyWorks for iPad can be used to provide switch control access employing the Switch Control function that is included in iOS 7 and newer releases. The SimplyWorks for iPad connects to the iDevice via Bluetooth wireless, leaving the viewing device free of inconvenient cords.

Employing the optional SimplyWorks Joystick offers access to proportional scanning or alternatively one or more SimplyWorks wireless switches can be connected to achieve the same functionality. Both Forward and Backward Scanning are available in addition to on-screen keyboard scanning and functionality. An integrated keyboard button is available for to instantly deploy or hide the keyboard as needed. An iBooks mode with page turner function is also available.

• Dual Scanning Options: The SimplyWorks for iPad will scan using either Voiceover in all iOS versions or Switch Control which is incorporated into iOS 7 and later releases. (By default it is present to Voiceover)
• PIN Free Pairing: Pairing the SimplyWorks with a compatible iDevice requires no PIN entry.
• Forward and Backward Scanning: Users are able to control scanning direction in order to optimize their access.
• On-Screen Keyboard: Quick one-touch access to on-screen keyboard makes data entry possible - even with a single switch.
• Compatible with All Current iDevices: Works with iPad, iPad mini, iPod (3rd generation and later) and iPhone (iOS 5.0 onwards). No PIN is required.
• iBooks Mode with Page-Turner: Users can access iBooks with even a single switch. Additional switches will enhance the efficiency of access.
• One-Touch Onscreen Keyboard Access: Integral button to deploy or hide the on-screen keyboard.
• Rechargeable Convenience: The SimplyWorks for iPad includes an integral, rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Charging can be done via any standard USB power supply - charging cord is included.
• Cordless Convenience: The SimplyWorks for iPad pairs directly with iPad through Bluetooth 2.1 without PIN number entry, and to the SimplyWorks Switch, Trackball or Joystick via standard wireless technology. It has an effective operating range of 20 metres (64 feet).
