Wired PBT Mouse

The Wired PBT Mouse from Matias is the first mouse formed solely from the same touch-friendly PBT plastic used in keycaps that are highly preferred by many typists. PBT is highly resistant to wear and will not become smooth and glossy. It will also not change colour over time, meaning that the White will not yellow with age as other plastics do. Because it features a light surface texture that is comfortable to the touch this eliminates the need for the rubberized finish commonly applied to many mousing products and which often becomes tacky over time.

The Wired PBT Mouse is designed for right hand use, with contours that can provide support for a wide range of hand sizes. It features four buttons, all equipped with premium OMRON switches rated to 50 million actuations. These switches offer a smooth activation with crisp tactile feedback and a quiet but audible click. The lightly-textured aluminum scroll wheel features soft but distinct detents. Just behind the scroll wheel is the control button (also aluminum) that functions as a Back button in Windows and can be custom programmed in Mac environments.

The Wired PBT Mouse is available in both White and Black, and with either USB or USB-C connections. It is plug-and-play in both Windows and Mac environments, making it ideal for situations where drivers cannot be installed. The 30-inch cord makes it well-suited to use with laptops, keyboards with integrated USB hubs, or where the CPU is in close proximity. A USB extension or desk hub could be used where additional cord length is required.
