The Compact Financial Membrane Keyboard for PC from Matias features standard keys (both key pitch and key cap size) throughout all primary keys in a reduced width of 14.25". The only exception to this are the upper row of function keys which are slightly wider and about half the standard height, and the directional arrow keys clustered below the right-hand Shift key which are also reduced height. The discrete numeric keypad on the right-hand side is ideal for those who require it for regular numeric data entry. This keyboard uses high quality low-travel (2 mm) Matias scissor-switch membrane keyswitches, with slightly concave keycap tops to assist typists in maintaining accurate finger contact.

At just 14.25" in width, this keyboard is roughly 3.0" narrower on the right side than the average conventional keyboard. This significantly reduces the overreaching that can occur when accessing a mouse on the right, while still retaining all standard keyboard keys/functionality. The low profile housing also greatly reduces the risk of the wrists moving into a position of extension.
