Cleankeys CK5 Wired Capacitive Desktop Glass Keyboard

The Cleankeys CK5 Wired Capacitive Desktop Glass Keyboard from GETT is a wipeable, waterproof wired all-in-one keyboard designed for environments in which hygienic conditions are a necessity, such as medical and dental operatories. The surface of this touch-sensitive (i.e. zero force) keyboard is completely flat Gorilla Glass that is easily cleaned using hospital-grade disinfectants. Keystrokes are activated by lightly touching the legended key areas on the surface as there are no moving mechanical parts in the keyboard.
The keys have adjustable sensitivity and volume to provide some confirmation of input in the absence of tactile or haptic feedback and can even be activated while wearing standard thickness silicone or latex gloves. The all-in-one design incorporates an innovative dual-use numeric keypad (10-key) that doubles as a large oversized touchpad. As a result the entire space required for both data entry and mouse input is just 16", making the CK5 Cleankeys ideal for use where operatory or examining room space is at a premium. The cursor arrow keys are still available; they have been relocated under the Enter and Right Shift key area. The integrated KEY LOCK function protects from accidental input by locking out key input during cleaning. When mounting is required the keyboard has 2 threaded inserts to make it compatible with a VESA 200 mounting pattern using M4 screws (not provided).

Note:This keyboard DOES NOT include the Scroll Lock key. The Print Screen & Pause key functions are available as secondary functions via the F4 & F5 keys when the Function key is activated.

• Seamless Gorilla Glass Surface: The Cleankeys CK5 Wired Capacitive Desktop Glass Keyboard is surfaced with resilient scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass for a perfectly smooth finish that is ideal for touch control.
• Disinfectable: The glass surface of the Cleankeys Wired Keyboard has an IP65 rating and can withstand most traditional cleaning and disinfecting agents. However, the chemical resistance of the glass surface may vary depending on the concentration of the solution and the particular environmental conditions. Care should be taken to ensure that any cleaning or disinfecting agents are compatible with use on the glass surface. NOTE: The body of the keyboard is not made of glass and greater care is needed to ensure that cleaning agents which may contact the body of the keyboard will not cause damage to the housing.

• Operable With Gloves: Standard thickness silicone or latex gloves can be worn while operating the CK5, making for a seamless transition from patient care to data entry.
• Lockout Function: In order to facilitate ease of cleaning (and inadvertent data entry) the CK5 Cleankeys Keyboard is equipped with a one-touch "LOCKOUT" function. A simple 2-second press locks out all data input. Normal function is restored by another 2-second press on the Keylock button.
• Integrated Dual-Purpose Numeric Keypad / Touchpad: The CK5 Cleankeys Keyboard functions as a complete all-in-one data entry and control device. The integrated touchpad provides full cursor control with left and right click touch points located directly below the dedicated touchpad zone and with a single touch converts to a standard numeric keypad to facilitate full data entry capabilities.
• Activation Sensitivity Adjustment: Activation sensitivity can be adjusted to optimize the force to what works "best" for any individual. Adjusting the response sensitivity level enables each person to fine-tune the keyboard to ensure that inadvertent "brushes" of the surface do not result in unintentional data entry.
• Audible Indicator Volume Control: Because a touch surfaces provide no audible or tactile notification of keystroke activation it is usually more difficult to type without paying very close attention to both the contact surface as well as the screen. This can lead to errors or greatly slow data entry. The CK5 Cleankeys Keyboard addresses this by providing an electronically generated audible feedback option which provides notification of keystroke activation. The volume of this notification can be adjusted according to personal preference.
