S-Board 840 Design USB

The S-Board 840 Design USB from Bakker Elkhuizen is a compact keyboard that reduces the distance a typist has to reach for operating the mouse and allows a more comfortable and ergonomic posture. An embedded numeric keypad is included for when more extensive numeric data must be entered. The small size and low weight of the S-board make it ideal for mobile computing. It offers 12 convenient One-Touch keys for Open, Save, Print, Cut, Copy, Paste, Home, My Favourite, and Email functions as well multimedia keys for Play/Pause, Stop, and Mute. Model BNES840DUS is also equipped with 2 USB ports for connection of other devices such as numeric keypads, a mouse, or USB memory sticks.

Both models of the S-Board 840 can also be paired with Bakker's optional 26-key numeric keypad, the S-Board 840 Design Numeric. This keypad can even be used (in calculator mode) as a handy calculator with its own LCD screen display. On model BNES840DUS the numeric keypad can even be connected directly to one of the two USB ports.

• This compact keyboard will work equally well for you whether you position your mouse on the right or left sides. The narrow footprint should aid you in reducing your reach on either side. If you feel that you still need a wrist support of some sort you may want to consider adding the low profile SAMA Palm Support. At just 0.5" in thickness and just 12" wide the SAMA will support the palms for a comfortable neutral alignment of the wrists.
• Familiarize yourself with the embedded numeric keypad. If your work requires occasional periods of more intense numeric entry using the numeric keypad may prove to be convenient. If the embedded numeric keypad does not meet your requirements consider adding one of the external numeric keypad options available as accessories.
